The players' annual memberships represent the vast majority of the club's income for the year, and despite being run entirely by volunteers, we have significant expenses to cover, for insurance, kit, training, registration costs, etc. As a result, it's really important that we get those memberships paid up in a timely fashion, so we can plan the budget for the whole season and meet those costs as they arise.
WIth that in mind, a massive thank you to all those you've paid already. Over half the players are now paid up, and it's only our second week of the season!
Memberships are £75 for the first child in a household, and £45 each for the second or further siblings, which can be paid by card, or spread across three installments, by direct debit. They can be bought via our website, here: Shop.
Anyone experiencing hardship can speak to our Treasurer, Steve Bowers, and we can support those who would otherwise struggle to afford it.
Several of our teams have had their first fixtures of the season already and plenty more are due over the next few weekends. Unfortunately, we cannot select players for matches who do not have their membership in place, as this includes their insurance with the RFU. Please can you make sure your children's memberships are in place ASAP, so the coaches can include them in their teams for these upcoming matches?
